About Us
Lars Wedinger started his upholstery business back in 1978, in Stockholm, Sweden. A keen interest in the veteran and vintage era developed, and hoods, curtains and delicate leatherwork became a speciality.
Lars settled in New Zealand in early 1990 and started Mint Condition Upholstery later that year. His business has faithfully restored many veteran, vintage and classic cars to preserve a piece of motor history.
Manufacturing of Spring Gaiters has been part of the business throughout the years. They are hand made from genuine leather and to the highest of standards. Templates for most models of Rolls Royce and Bentley among others are kept but we welcome orders to customer's own measurements as well.
